Still the best Korean food in town, homemade, with the best katsu as well. Side dishes are generously refilled and completely delicious (especially the bean sprouts!) The folks that run this place are the best human beings you will ever meet, and I would continue to recommend this place as bringing solid culture to Lubbock before we started getting the new places! This will always be an original OG legendary place ~

The food was amazing!! I had the Bulgogi and my granddaughter had the bibimbap and both were great portions. And for someone who has never liked kimchi from a jar; to know it was made in house and so freaking delicious was an incredible find. Also the kimchi garlic stems were good too. What made it special however was the gentleman and lady who went out of their way to explain the dishes and provided great service! Would definitely recommend and next time in Lubbock will be back.

The chicken was both fresh and tender! The portions were quite large and definitely can be shared between 2 people. All the pickled veggies on the side were unlimited and paired perfectly with the spicy chicken.

We stopped by Lubbock for a night on our way back from a skiing trip and wanted to get some Asian food for dinner. Seoul came up as one of the top rated one and happened to be very close to our hotel, so we decided to give it a try. This is not a full service restaurant. You have to order at the counter and get water and utensils yourself but the owner is super friendly and happy to explain to you what all the different menu items are. We went for our usual favorite dish, La Calbi, Bibimbap, Tofu stew, and also tried the Jap Chae (glass noodle). I used to live close to the Korean Town in Garden GroveI so I have had a lot of good Korean food. I think La Calbi, Bibimbap, Jap Chae all came out as you would expect from a good Korean restaurant though not something that will make me remember though. The tofu stew is not comparable to those I had in Garden Grove or in the LA area but still tasted good (but I still haven't found a Korean restaurant in Texas which can make similar Tofu stew either so it's definitely not a disappointment.) In short, food here is fresh and all tasted great (we cleaned all the plates). Prices are very reasonable as well. So, it's definitely a go-to place if you have craving for Korean food in Lubbock.
